Sara graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting. She then attended Willamette University College of Law in Salem Oregon, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence and Certificate of Dispute Resolution.
Sara began her career in the Washington County District Attorney's Office. She spent six years advocating for crime victims in Washington County. She was an integral player in the development of Washington County's domestic violence programs, and participated in various capacities for the Domestic Violence Resource Center and the Domestic Violence Intervention Council. Sara developed Washington County's Bounceback program and she participated on the team that developed Washington County's Drug Court. Sara is an experienced litigator with over 100 trials in state and federal court.
Sara has continued her drive to assist persons in need switching to a civil practice that focuses on employment and discrimination matters. Sara has a deep commitment to provide excellent legal service by combining her previous experience and knowledge with a drive to always learn more.
Outside of her legal practice, Sara is a Board member for the Sexual Assault Resource Center, and she is involved in numerous equestrian activities.
Sara is licensed to practice in the State of Oregon, and in the US District Court for the District of Oregon. She is a member of the Multnomah Bar Association, Washington County Bar Association, Oregon State Bar, Federal Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, and Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. |
